General Anesthesia

Though the use of general anesthesia a level of sedation can be accomplished which allows you to sleep though your dental visit. This technique allows you to have multiple dental treatments done in one sitting. You are comfortably sleeping while the work is being done and awakened at the end of the procedure. It seems like only a few moments have passed for you.

Hyperactive gag reflexes, extreme dental phobics and medically comprised patients can get the dental treatment they need.

All the current anesthesia standards of care are observed for your care. A complete crash box is with all resuscitation equipment is within arms reach, if needed.

Dr. Dwivedi is one of the only dentists in Northern Virginia who has completed a medical residency in anesthesiology. He has twenty years of experience providing this level of care.
